JS Dance Centre is looking forward to a successful eisteddfod competition season in 2010. We have dancers competing in Northern Beaches, Extreme, Mc Donalds Performing Arts Challenge, Austrailan Dance Challenge, Showcase and Ryde dance eisteddfods!
In May students from JS Dance Centre were given the amazing opportunity of performing as junior cast members alongside Wayne Scott Kermond in the musical 'Candyman' at the Lyric Theatre! The students loved every second of this great experience.
The new dance season begins in June/July so JS Dance Centre has introduced its new timetable and uniform policies! Ask at reception for a copy if you have not received one yet, we will also be posting it online shortly.
Open day will be held at JS Dance Studios on Saturday August 7th! Everybody is welcome so bring along your family and friends and come watch our students perform their new routines. Sausage sizzle, raffles and much more also available on the day
Our end of year concert will be held on 10th December at Glen St Theatre, Belrose - dont forget to put it in your diaries!
At the end of May we had a fantastic workshop with Grace, a contestant from the last season of So You Think You Can Dance. All the students loved her and can't wait for her to come back!
Behind every show there is commitment, dedication and hard work. To perform one must have courage, passion and discipline. These qualities are what the study of dance brings to students even beyond the studio. It is these skills the JS Dance Centre team aims to teach through a fun, nurturing and caring environment.
